Bird Ringing at Landsort
Most of the trapping and ringing of birds is carried out in the area around
the bird observatory at Bredmar, just north of the village. Some periods we
also ring birds around the lighthouse on the south cape of the island.
The main ringing periods are from May, 1 - June, 10 and September, 20 -
October, 31. If possible we try to do some ringing even in April, August and
the rest of September.
